Walking in Truth for Today Jan 31, 2012

"Don't Get it Twisted"

God is not someone to play with. The phrase "Fear Not" was used many times when a person had an encounter with God because of what it meant to Fear God from a biblical perspective. Proverbs 1:7 Amplified Bible (AMP) says  7The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning and the principal and choice part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; but fools despise skillful and godly Wisdom, instruction, and discipline. Strong's concordance defines Fear as: 1) fear, terror, fearing (a) fear, terror (b) awesome or terrifying thing (object causing fear) (c) fear (of God), respect, reverence, piety (d) revered. Does the presence of God make you tremble. Does Repentance   run rampant when He shows up, and does fear shake the congregation. How do you respond when God really shows up?
