"A Clean Slate"
Everybody loves a fresh start. Learn how to ask for forgiveness so that your husband receives your apology. After all this is why we apologize. Forgive your husband, they may not know how to give the perfect apology yet, but they are working on it. It takes a lot to apologize, defeating the ever large ego, learning how to apologize, feelings of being ashamed, even devastation for hurting the one they love. We have all been on both sides of this event. So for your sake and their clean slate and forgive your husband.
1 John 1:8-10 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Matthew 6:14-16 (NLT) “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.
