Marriage Builder Moment for Dec 12, 2011

 "Built to Last"
“You can build a house that ‘looks good’ on the outside but the foundation is crumbling; and that almost always leads to a house that will be condemned and torn down. Our marriages may ‘look good’ to others around us, but we know if the foundation is crumbling and if the marriage is close to being torn down. If the foundation of your marriage is built on anything other than on God’s Word it’s time to tear out the old and put in the new foundation”  (Charles Swindoll)

Matthew 7:24-26 - New Living Translation (NLT) 24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the flood waters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand.
